WHAT IS IT YOU LOVE ABOUT MUSEUMS? I love that I always notice something new, however many times I’ve visited some museums & galleries I always manage to spot something that hasn’t caught my eye before. I also love to travel and it’s great how language is irrelevant in these spaces, it’s about what you’re looking at and it doesn’t matter if you can’t speak the local dialect 💜
BEST CHILDHOOD MEMORY? Swimming! I used to go swimming with my Dad from a young age and it was our special time together. Then growing up I used to love going to the local pool and hanging out all day. It’s something my daughter also loves so i’m happy about that 🏊♀️🌊🏊♀️
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MUSEUM AND WHY? The V&A @vamuseum, I love the building as well as the exhibitions and it’s also got a great gift shop 🙌
WHAT WAS THE LAST PICTURE YOU TOOK ON YOUR PHONE? A photo of my daughter running around the garden starkers enjoying the sunshine and family time ☀️☀️
IF YOU WERE TO CREATE A PIECE OF ART WHAT WOULD THE SUBJECT BE? Child birth, I know that might sound crass but I would create a piece of art that showed the pure joy on a mothers face when she meets that baby for the first time. Something that demonstrated all the hard work she puts in and the magic that happens in her body to birth that baby 👶🏼
WHO WOULD BE YOUR PERFECT MUSEUM BUDDY?
My best friend, we like to have some quality time together and often go to a gallery or museum, then follow it with a glass of vino. We don’t get to see each other much so it’s nice to have this time together ⭐️
ANY PARENTING TIPS? Go with the flow, what works for one doesn’t work for another. As long as you and your kids are happy. Though I am a huge convert to baby wearing, it was a life saver when Everley was tiny and really helped her to develop a bond with her Dad too 🙌🙌
