WHAT IS IT YOU LOVE ABOUT MUSEUMS? I used to love going to museums to spend a peaceful few hours looking at beautiful things, learning, being inspired. Now it’s more often about chasing a rampaging toddler around, trying to stop him pulling down the security cordons. But I love seeing his reactions to things, and discovering what interests him.
BEST CHILDHOOD MEMORY? When I was five, I was the flower girl at my aunt’s wedding in Florida, and had to scatter dried rose petals along the aisle. Afterwards my grandparents took me to Disneyworld. I remember running around hugging all the characters and watching the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MUSEUM AND WHY? In London, one of my favourites is the V&A @vamuseum. I always love their exhibitions, but everything about it is wonderful, from the building to the gift shop to the beautiful courtyard in the centre.⭐️⭐️
WHAT WAS THE LAST PICTURE YOU TOOK ON YOUR PHONE? My son Edward being carried on my father’s shoulders, reaching up to touch some lilac blossom.
IF YOU WERE TO CREATE A PIECE OF ART WHAT WOULD THE SUBJECT BE? Springtime – I love the delicate colours of the blossoms, and the sense of hope and happiness in the air at this time of year.
WHO WOULD BE YOUR PERFECT MUSEUM BUDDY? My mum and sister.
